Charlotte Gainsbourg. She is so beautiful!

What piece in your wardrobe do you cherish the most?

This pink top with flower embroidery that I picked up when I was traveling in Oaxaca Mexico.

If you weren’t an Accessories designer, what would like to be?

Industrial designer

What inspired your spring/summer collection?

Mexico. I was inspired by the textiles and amazing ceramics! And of course the nature and culture of the country is absolutely amazing.

Tell me about your creative process!

The creative process never stops for me! I’m always thinking of my designs. When I’m inspired I draw, and take notes, so when it comes down to actually designing, the process goes fast!

How does Montreal influence your designs?

I’m inspired by the people I see everyday on street and their needs. My designs have style but they are also very functional. For example, I use fur and leather for my purses because they are durable fabrics that can hold up in winter! I want my pieces to last for a long time!

Finally what is your first Fashion Memory?

I remember I was young, my friends and I would make fashion magazines!

Mon jeans préférée de Mavi est Serena; un coup assez skinny que se porte bien avec tout.

Comment décrirais-tu la coupe?

Serena est un coup étroit avec une taille basse.

Pourquoi est-ce ton style préféré?

J’aime être comfortable et pour un jeans étroit Serena est très comfortable. Aussi, c’est un coup qui va simplement avec tout et peut être porté pour beaucoup d’occasions.

Comment le portes-tu?

Je le  porte avec présque tout; avec un t-shirt style ‘Kate Moss’, une veste noir et des talons.

My favorite Mavi style is the Alexa

What is the fit like?

Super skinny, Mid-rise

Why is this style your favorite?

With my long legs I have trouble finding jeans that fit well, but the Alexa with the 34’’ inseam is perfect for me! The cut is really flattering and they’re not only stylish, they also offer great support and comfort! I also find that a mid-rise does wonders for the behind

How do you style it?

I wear them with everything! Crop tops, plain t-shirts, even under tunics! The darker ones also work well as dressier pants, so I don’t hesitate to match them with a glittery top when it’s time to go out!
